Here's a closer look at our additional services:
Washing the walls – Our general cleaning service includes a lot, but not washing the walls. We charge for this service by the hour, with the full sum given to you transparently after the work has been assessed and a timeframe decided. We guarantee that by the end of our work, your home will be brighter and cleaner than ever.
Cleaning stairs and bannisters. Stairs and railings have become more than just a means of changing levels, they’ve become a feature all their own. With different types of materials used it can be hard to do the job right. But that’s where our expertise and range of products come in! Our stair and bannister work is calculated based on the number of steps, and the full sum will be provided transparently after the work has been assessed.

Dinnerware care – We here at House Tidying understand just how time consuming it can be to bring your glassware to a crystal sheen, or have cups, plates, and saucers looking spotless. With this service we want to bring your dinnerware back to a pristine condition, leaving you feeling as though it’s all brand new!
Cookware care – Just as important as your dinnerware, anyone with a love of the kitchen knows how important keeping pots and pans well maintained is to their long lasting life, and that’s why we at House Tidying are ready and willing to put in the work for you to keep them in great condition.
Cleaning the refrigerator – We’ve all been there. Opening the fridge after a long days work and noticing one of the kids didn’t tighten the orange juice lid. Even with the proper products it can be a pain! No matter the build up of dirt and grime, or spilt juice! We’re happy to help keep your fridge looking as though it was just purchased that day!
Cleaning the inside of the oven. No matter how careful we are, the oven always gets grease and grime over it from regular use, and the time it can take for it to be properly cleaned isn’t always something we can afford in our day to day lives. That’s why we offer to do the service for you, saving you the time and more importantly energy all that elbow grease requires to get your oven shimmering like new. The price ranges from £50 to £100, depending on the level of contamination. To clean the oven, you need special professional products to remove difficult stains and grease. Cleaning must be done with gloves and in compliance with all rules. After cleaning with products, everything is thoroughly washed off and wiped dry.
Cleaning the microwave oven – Over time grease and odours can start to build up in the microwave just from use, and much like the oven it can be labour intensive to clean out. When we provide this service, we only use safe products, and will leave your microwave oven glistening like new!
Window cleaning. – Wiping and washing window frames and sills. Prices vary from £5 to £20 per window, depending on the window size.
Cleaning the cooker hood – It’s generally recommended to give your cooker hood a thorough deep clean at least once a month, soaking the filter in hot water for an hour followed by a careful cleaning with a neutral detergent, avoiding aggressive chemicals. To save you the trouble of purchasing specific detergents and taking the time to wipe down the entirety of the hood, our employees will see to it for you with all the right tools in an efficient manner.
Cleaning the dishwasher. – Cleaning the interior of an empty dishwasher. The cost ranges from £10 to £20, depending on the level of contamination.
Washing, drying, and folding laundry. – The cost ranges from £10 to £30 per load. This service will be carried out in your washing machine and your dryer, as well as your detergents. After washing and drying, dry clothes are folded in designated places, and wet clothes are hung in a specially designated place to dry completely.
Ironing and sorting of clothes and bed linen – As an addition to the service of washing and drying your laundry at home, we also offer the added service of ironing and sorting. Once all of your freshly cleaned linens and clothes are ironed, we will put each article in their proper homes.
Laundry service – This service includes the collection of soiled items and linen in your home. Packing and delivery to the laundromat or dry cleaners. Service includes placing an order, payment. The next step in our service is receiving your clean wash from the laundry and delivering it to your home. If necessary, things are put in their places. Laundry will be delivered to you on the next scheduled cleaning day. This service is paid according to the laundry tariffs plus our services. We guarantee the safety and integrity of your belongings within the framework of our services.
Fireplace cleaning – There’s nothing warmer to the heart or home than a burning fire, but the build up of soot can be both an eyesore and a hazard. Our fireplace cleaning service will have our employees clean not only the fireplace itself, but the mantelpiece and decorative elements as well. Once everything is clean, each piece is returned to its rightful place and if necessary small amounts of firewood, charcoal, or briquettes are brought for later use.
Help in decorating the house for holidays and celebrations – Help in decorating the house for holidays and celebrations** – Even though we’re all adults, we all love the holidays and special events. Decorating the house can be one of the most rewarding things we can do for special occassions but not all of us have the time, or perhaps find it physically difficult to do by ourselves. Other times we may want to decorate to surprise family members when they come home but there’s just so much to do in a short space of time! Our employees are ready and willing to help with decorating under your strict guidance, bringing the extra hands you need to get the magic you deserve.

You can choose any service from the above list as a separate option or add it to your general, regular cleaning, or move-in/move-out cleaning. All these services are calculated and paid for separately. You can also order any other additional cleaning service not described in our list by prior arrangement.
Note:
Frequently ordered services require additional clarifications. For example, wall washing. Different rooms may have different types of contamination, and if there is mold on the walls or between the tiles that requires more than just washing, such as bleaching, touch-up painting with a special corrector or paint, or sealant replacement, all these details are discussed in advance. The selection of materials is also clarified. The service is paid for separately, and any additional materials are also paid for additionally.
Moreover, deep cleaning of the oven, laundry and ironing services, window and door cleaning from the outside, and upholstery and carpet cleaning are not included in standard service packages and are considered additional services.
If you have adjacent areas such as a yard, garden, or flower bed, we are ready to help maintain the cleanliness of these areas. Has your outdoor tile become mossy or overgrown with grass? We can tidy it up. Fence painting, other garden decorative elements, varnishing, cleaning and washing barbecue grills, cleaning outdoor furniture, cleaning summer gazebos - we can do all this for you. The price of such services is negotiable.
